## Accessibility Statement

MO

**Effective Date:** October 10, 2026

## Our Commitment

Arbor Fertility is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should be able to learn about our fertility care services, schedule appointments, and contact our team without barriers.

## Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim for our website to **conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA**, the standard adopted by the U.S. Department of Justice for ADA Title III compliance.

At this time, we believe our website **partially conforms** with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conforms" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate accessibility issues across all pages.

## Accessibility Features

Our website is designed with the following accessibility features:

- **Keyboard navigation:** All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are accessible using only a keyboard
- **Screen reader support:** Content is structured with semantic HTML and ARIA labels to support assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack
- **Text resizing:** Text can be resized up to 200% in modern browsers without loss of content or functionality
- **Color contrast:** Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components)
- **Alternative text:** Images include descriptive alt text where appropriate; decorative images are marked as such
- **Captions and transcripts:** Where video content is present, we provide captions; we are working to add transcripts for all multimedia content
- **Responsive design:** The website adapts to different screen sizes and orientations, supporting use on desktop, tablet, mobile, and assistive devices
- **Focus indicators:** Visible focus indicators help keyboard users track their location on the page
- **Skip links:** "Skip to main content" links allow keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repeated navigation
- **Form labels and error messages:** All form fields include programmatic labels, and validation errors are announced clearly

## Known Limitations

We are aware that the following areas may not yet meet our accessibility goals:

- **Embedded third-party content:** Some embedded content from third-party providers (such as appointment scheduling widgets, video players, and map embeds) may not be fully accessible. We are working with our vendors to improve this where possible.
- **PDF documents:** Older PDF documents on our site may not be fully tagged for accessibility. We are reviewing and remediating PDFs as part of an ongoing effort. If you need information from a PDF in an accessible format, please contact us — we will provide it within 3 business days.
- **Legacy content:** Some content imported from our previous website may not yet meet our current accessibility standards. We are reviewing and updating this content as we go.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier that is not listed here, please let us know.

## Effective Communication for Healthcare

In addition to general website accessibility, Arbor Fertility complies with **Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act**, which requires healthcare providers to take reasonable steps to provide meaningful access to people with limited English proficiency and to provide auxiliary aids and services to people with disabilities at no cost to the patient.

If you need any of the following, please contact us in advance of your appointment:

- Sign language interpreter (American Sign Language or other)
- Large-print materials
- Materials in an alternative format (Braille, audio, accessible PDF, plain text email)
- Accessible communication during virtual visits
- Any other reasonable accommodation related to a disability

We will provide these services free of charge.

## Feedback and Contact

If you experience difficulty using any part of our website, or if you would like to request accessibility accommodations for an appointment, please contact us. We welcome feedback and will respond within **3 business days**.

- **Phone:** [(314) 806-BABY (2229)](tel:+13148062229)
- **Email:** care@arborfertility.one
- **Mailing address:** Arbor Fertility, 15320 Conway Road, Suite B, Chesterfield, MO 63017

When contacting us about a website accessibility issue, please include:

- The page URL where you encountered the issue
- A description of the issue
- The assistive technology you were using (if applicable)
- Your preferred way to be contacted with a response

## Ongoing Improvement

Web accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. We commit to:

- Reviewing this statement at least annually
- Auditing the website against WCAG 2.2 AA on a recurring basis
- Training our staff on digital accessibility
- Considering accessibility from the start when adding new content or features
- Responding promptly to accessibility feedback from users

## Formal Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you have the right to file a complaint with:

- **U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights** (for Section 1557 complaints): `https://www.hhs.gov/ocr/complaints/`
- **U.S. Department of Justice, ADA Information Line:** 1-800-514-0301 (voice) or 1-833-610-1264 (TTY)

You will not be retaliated against for filing a complaint.
